We did however briefly see the Bastille column, opera house, Notre Dame. City hall, Eiffel Tower etc.
Lunch was in the Saint Michel area and we had pizza and pasta that was very good.
After lunch we went to the Arc de Triomph and then shopping in the Champs de Élysées. We tried to go to the catacombs but they were closed.
Mary, Raj, Sonu, Christian and I walked through Notre Dame. Glorious.
Dinner was at Lodies and we had pork and potatoes with chocolate mousse.
After dinner we went back to the Eiffel Tower and it was just amazing. Some went up to the second level (the top was closed) and some chose to do more shopping. Christian did not want to go up in the tower so he and I just hung out and had some wonderful time together.
We returned to the hotel late. Tomorrow we leave for Belgium.
